If these frames are left in nature, will biodegrade, leaving no impact on the planet and returning to the nature they come from. Made with the highest-quality polarized lenses, and produced 100% sustainably. Each pair comes with a premium cactus leather case and StokedPlastic® microfiber cloth.

Based in Kennebunkport, Maine, Opolis Optics was founded by James Merrill in 2020. The company makes sunglasses and ski and snowboard goggles built on StokedPlastic®, a fully sustainable blend derived from ocean-bound water bottles, developed with the University of Southern Maine. After a decade as a U.S. government contractor abroad, Merrill saw a direct link between plastic pollution and violence and decided to act. Opolis owns this eyewear technology, supporting its claim to be the most sustainable eyewear brand on earth. MOB member since 2021.
