Directions:
Begin by rinsing out the protective vegetable starch with water, or machine wash. Avoid fabric softener to retain absorbency. Recommend air dry to extend life. DuraFresh cloth becomes softer, thicker and more absorbent with repeat use. Rinse and wring out after each use to keep fresh.

Based in Scarborough, Maine, Durafresh was founded in 2014 by Phil Pastore, who previously worked with specialized materials at Fiber Materials Inc. in Biddeford. That experience showed him wood pulp could be turned into a cloth strong enough for everyday use and still fully biodegradable. The result is the Durafresh Eco-cloth, a reusable, machine-washable alternative to sponges and paper towels. Made in the USA from sustainable wood fiber, each cloth replaces dozens of paper towel rolls and breaks down in compost when it’s done. MOB Member since 2024.
